From the author: Before we talk about how to become self-confident, let’s consider the causes of insecurity. After all, each of us is born confident in his desires, in what he wants and what he does. Before talking about how to become self-confident, let’s consider the causes of insecurity. After all, each of us is born confident in his desires, in what he wants and what he does. A simple example - watch children from two years old who have not yet been to kindergarten. I have an adult son, who is 15 years old, and two daughters, six and two years old. And the opportunity to observe the process of their growing up, plus knowledge of psychology and personal experience allows me to speak confidently on this topic. So, if my youngest daughter wants to ride on a swing on the street, then she will definitely ride on it, and dad (i.e. . I) will help her climb on them and will swing as much as she wants. Children know well what they want and always confidently get what they want. All their actions are aimed at enjoying life. Children come into this world full of possibilities, open and “not formatted” by us, adults. What happens to them later, why do all people become unsure of themselves and suffer? It is our fault that through our upbringing we turn them into people who are unsure of themselves and their abilities. And this happens because we ourselves are so brought up by our environment, kindergarten, school, institute, army, that we are accustomed to obeying other people’s desires, and not realizing our own. What to do to break the vicious circle? Where can I find a way out? And everything, as it turns out, is simple. And then you will understand this, and then you yourself will be able to become confident in yourself. I once, just like you, looked for a way out of this situation and found it. And books helped me with this. I have read many books, completed several special trainings and know the answer to the question “how to become confident?” I will not dwell on the fact that our parents manipulate us for their own convenience, sometimes without understanding what they are doing and what this can mean give later. Example: “Eat for dad, for mom...” Or: “Stop eating this, your stomach will hurt.” “I told you that you would fall, but you didn’t listen.” “If you don’t sleep, Baba Yaga will come and take you with you.” If you don't study, you'll work as a janitor. And so on, you can give many examples of parents manipulating their children. You say: “What should I do?” It’s okay, let the children do what they want, and they should only be stopped if it threatens their lives! In the first steps of a little person, you give him the opportunity to explore the world and then become confident in himself and in his actions. I won’t mention examples of manipulation in school, college and the army... After some “processing” by parents, this environment is more easily perceived by little ones person. And many quickly adapt to certain rules and regulations. And whoever doesn’t, becomes an outcast. And all this kills the child’s self-confidence and thereby takes away his future. We completely forget about the main thing - thoughts have the ability to materialize. We are taught: to be rich we need to study, work hard; learning is light, and ignorance is darkness, and so on. I’ll tell you a little secret: many rich and wealthy people do not have higher education, and sometimes did not even graduate from school or studied, but in comparison with other peers, very poorly. There are many examples - John Davidson Rockefeller, Albert Einstein, Vladimir Dovgan... Even Russian President Dmitry Medvedev writes in his memoirs about studying at school: “At some periods, I studied not at all smoothly. But at a certain point I realized that if I don’t start studying normally, then something in my life might not work out in general. As a result, I finished school quite well.” “I was able to become an inventor because I didn’t go to school as a child,” Thomas Edison. Here are the signs of those people who studied poorly or did not graduate from college at all: Michael Dell, Bill Gates, Roman Abramovich (data on higher education are contradictory): After graduating from school, he was unable to!
