Eating something when you don’t feel like it, classic “piece eating”. How to avoid this?🤔 Piece eating is more about the emotional component, and not about hunger. Various reasons lead to the unconscious process of eating food Let's take a closer look at them and give recommendations for overcoming them. 1️⃣ You want to eat. You decided to go on a diet and suddenly gave up your usual food, but your body rebels and sends hunger signals. ❗Recommendation: breakfast and lunch should provide energy for the whole day. Be smart about limits. 2️⃣ I want something sweet. A passion for sweets indicates an addiction to sugar or a lack of proteins or carbohydrates in your diet. ❗Recommendation: if you don’t have enough energy, include porridge and fruits in your breakfast. Cravings for sweets can mean a lack of protein. Include eggs, dairy products, and meat in your diet. Sometimes you can allow a little sweet (less than 10% of your regular diet ☝️). 3️⃣ Thirst. A person puts a piece of food in his mouth, but he just wants to drink. Heavy workload, rush, etc. lead to the fact that we cease to feel ourselves and hear the signals of our body, and often the feeling of thirst is replaced by a feeling of hunger. ❗Recommendation: if you have an unplanned desire to have a snack, drink a glass of water. 4️⃣ Lack of sleep. Manifested by lethargy, weakness and rapid fatigue. The body needs energy. ❗Recommendation: if possible, take a nap for 20 - 30 minutes. Eat some foods high in vitamins, Ka and Mg: orange, apple, dried fruits. These products have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the nervous system and give vitality. 5️⃣ Boredom, sadness 😟. Food, especially tasty food, stimulates the pleasure center in the brain. ❗Recommendation: add positive emotions😀. Listen to your favorite music, watch good movies, play sports. If you can't handle it yourself, contact a specialist. 6️⃣ Habit. Often the cause of piece-making is difficult to determine, so much has it become a habit. ❗Recommendation: make a meal schedule and strictly follow it. After a while, a habit will appear (usually about 2 months) of not cutting. ❗Remember❗Snacks on the run, in a hurry, contribute to problems with the housing complex. This is a direct road to excess weight. Junk food = weakened immune system, poor health and low mood.
