You will find out the answer to this question at the end of the post. Today I want to talk about a concept that is very popular and, it seems to me, even cute furry mongrels know about it."Parent - Adult - Child." Uncle Eric Berne found out that the human psyche consists of such internal subpersonalities. Essentially, we are talking about one of three ego states into which you immerse yourself at different moments in life and act based on their behavioral stereotypes. This can be both consciously and unconsciously. In my humble opinion, it’s cool to manage these three subpersonalities and include each in its own lesson hour. Let’s decipher what is typical for these internal states. The Inner Parent has in its arsenal the keyword “Must”. Norms, requirements, prohibitions, rules are the favorite “dishes” of the Parent. He eats them for breakfast, lunch, dinner and, of course, tries to feed others. It is logical that the Inner Parent is nurtured in childhood by real significant adults and what attitudes they gave to you. The Parent is characterized by directive statements like: “It should”; "Never"; "So, remember"; “What nonsense” and so on. There are two types of Parent: 1. A caring Parent, acting through guardianship, advice, support. His style of behavior is characterized by the fact that he consoles, corrects, helps - “We will do this” “Don’t be afraid” “We will all help you”, “Poor thing, let me help”, “Learn from me”, “My dear” or “Do like me."2. Controlling Parent. It is characterized by controlling behavior through prohibitions and sanctions for failure to comply with rules or regulations. The Controlling Parent threatens, criticizes, orders. A very directive position, which is characterized by the phrases: “It’s wrong to do this,” “This is complete nonsense,” “If you don’t do it, then...”, “There are only two opinions - mine and the wrong one,” “Do as I said, otherwise ...,” “So, remember,” “Stop it,” “No way in the world,” “I would if I were you,” and so on. Do you sense a connection with the previous task? It was in this task that we explored the attitudes of your Inner Criticist? Parents and tried to transform them to the level of a Caring Parent with his sufficient goodness. The Inner Child is our inner naughty man, the same Carlson who did not want to live in an apartment, but lived on the roof, drank a jar of raspberry jam in one sitting, and circled on horseback. mop, played the best ghost in the world... The element of the Inner Child - emotions, entertainment, hooliganism, spontaneity, open expression of feelings and desires. The word “I want” is well suited for this ego state. The state of the “Inner Child” manifests itself in three forms. : 1. Natural Child (Spontaneous Child) - assumes all the impulses inherent in a child: gullibility, spontaneity, enthusiasm, ingenuity; gives a person charm and warmth. This is a kind of natural, impulsive and self-centered behavior. At the same time, the Natural Child is capricious, touchy, frivolous, stubborn and aggressive.2. Adapted Child (Adaptable Child) - assumes comfortable behavior that meets the expectations and requirements of the parents. In a sense, this is helpless, fearful, compliant behavior. The Adapted Child is characterized by uncertainty, timidity, and shyness. From such an ego-state, a person very often looks back at other, significant and authoritative people: “What will others say?”, “I would do this, but I’m afraid that they will punish me,” “But N says that it’s wrong to do this.” 3. Rebellious Child. The main task of the Rebellious Child is to rebel! Against who? Against the parents, of course. Parents can be understood as both physiological parents and any significant persons or those people whom a person considers to be somehow superior to himself - bosses, teachers, colleagues, husbands/wives/brothers/sisters. Remember the cartoon with Nehochukha in the title role. This is roughly how a Rebellious Child behaves. The Inner Adult is a kind of golden mean between the Inner Parent and the Inner Child. It analyzes the information recorded in :)
