Today we will continue to work on SPGS and look at the track “Children” from Krovostok’s latest album. In my opinion, this song is a kind of watershed in the entire work of Shilo and the company. Now I’ll try to explain why. Although the lyrical characters changed from song to song, from album to album, common characteristics can still be identified. Firstly, impulsiveness and lack of self-control. The primacy of “want” over “need”. Let's remember the track "Dumbbell" as an example. But behind all this hedonism and Thelemic maxims lies melancholy. And this is the second point that runs like a red thread through all of Krovostok’s work. Somewhere behind the confident and uncompromising characters of the characters sits emptiness and an existential crisis. Here you can develop the idea of trying to fill the internal emptiness with the external, but we are analyzing the track “Children”. So let's get back to it. Why did I call it a watershed of creativity and reaching a new level? Because in it the lyrical hero begins to understand the reasons for his behavior. The track tells us about the lyrical hero who describes his inner child and his relationship with him. The child wants what all children want - movement, impressions, emotions, the thrill of life, etc. But we are talking about Krovostok, so all these wishes of the child are not entirely legal. And for them the hero faces life imprisonment. But he, or rather his adult part, takes responsibility for the child’s behavior and tries to somehow get out of the current situation. At the same time, the adult part is clearly afraid of the child. Dear experts, the question is - where does the psychological problem of the hero lie here? True. At first glance everything is ok. The lyrical hero does not wage war with the inner child, does not try to strangle him and hide him. She even helps him. But at the same time, the inner child seems to have seized power, and the other internal “roles” are afraid of him. And this is not at all ok. Normally, a person should smoothly and calmly move from one role to another, without denying any of them. And not letting one role take precedence over the others. Balance, all that. And yet - where is the divide here? Yes, here it is. We see a clear increase in the awareness of the lyrical hero. If before he did all sorts of things, but did not quite understand why, now he understood why he did this. It is driven by his child. Understanding this is the first step towards internal harmony. This is no longer a reckless gangster, but a wise gangster. I would like to believe that the heroes of Krovostok’s songs will remain on this “step” and will not go further, because then we will lose one of the best domestic rap projects. And you, dear followers, I urge you to move on. Understand your inner world, understand and accept each of your roles and look for balance.
