Today, my dear readers, I want to talk to you about virtual reality. I think it’s fair to call the twenty-first century the century of the Internet. I admit that I have swung to call the whole century that way, because it has only just begun. But the first twenty years are very promising. The Internet is accessible to almost everyone and is becoming an integral part of the lives of our contemporaries. I think it’s worth revising Maslow’s pyramid of needs and adding “access to the Internet” after physiological needs. Joke) But in every joke, as you know, there is only a grain of joke. So, what needs do people satisfy with the help of the world wide web? Yes. almost any, except physiological ones. In the world of megapixels, megabytes, avatars and lines, people satisfy their hunger for information, find friends and like-minded people, get the opportunity to express themselves, share themselves and penetrate each other’s secret worlds.I. What is probably the most amazing and beautiful thing is that people fall in love here. I want to write more about this. Actually, the article is about virtual love, although I called it differently. Today, one of my colleagues said that the Internet is a place where a person’s physical characteristics (appearance, gender, age) lose significance and the opportunity opens up to love a person for that very rich inner world. I thought about it. Perhaps the Internet is the most suitable place for souls to meet. Wow) And I also began to think about how accurate a person’s vision through lines can be? After all, in conditions of a lack of data, the brain is capable of producing its own reality: enemies, friends, loved ones, fans, idols, gods. What kind of fantasies and projections can we give to our virtual interlocutor? O_o! Here I would like to draw a parallel with the real world, where appearance, voice, facial expressions, gestures, age, gender and other characteristics of a person are significant. So, what? There are no less projections and fantasies there, and maybe more. I remember the lines of E. Yevtushenko. from the poem “There are no uninteresting people in the world” We remember people, sinful and earthly. And what did we know, in essence, about them? What do we know about brothers, about friends, what do we know about our only one? And about our own father, although we know everything, we know nothing. I fantasize that this article will seem naive to someone and perhaps this someone will be right from the standpoint of their reality. But I would like to call virtual reality as equal in rights as any other. That’s what I’ll probably do.
