From the author: For those who are interested in the neurophysiological foundations of psychology. The main psychological problem of a person is his psychological, programmatic, internal division. This problem is actually born with us. Or rather, even before our birth, it comes with our parents and grandparents. Education itself is a flow of contradictory information. When we talk about information, we mean verbal information. But you need to understand a simple thing: verbal information is the result of secondary processing of information in the prefrontal cortex. And before that, sound, light, color, smell, touch are born in other parts of the brain, which are called analyzers or, as Nelpers say, representative systems. It is thanks to these zones that color, light, sound, smell, taste, and bodily sensations are born in our brain. It is these sensations that give us a real, subjective picture of the world. That is, our sensations are first born in our unconscious, and then adjustments and additional processing of information occur in the prefrontal cortex. Our sensations are born tens of milliseconds earlier than the thoughts associated with them. That is why they say that a spoken thought is a lie. Rather, it is a sensation corrected and transformed into a thought, such as whether it is good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant. As we grow, starting at birth (some neuroscientists say even before birth), neural connections between the prefrontal cortex and other parts of the brain begin to form. And here the leading role belongs to the mother (or the person replacing her). It is the way the mother speaks, looks, touches, feeds, her gaze, facial expressions, tone and timbre of voice that are all perceived and gradually connected into a single picture, into a single neural network. And this, in turn, forms the basis of the child’s unconscious assessment and response programs not only for now, but for almost the rest of his life. Then, when the child begins to speak, additional information processing occurs. And naturally, due to the presence of mirror neurons, their repetition occurs. Repetition is the mother of learning. As a result, our sensations become pleasant or not. Even if they are not pleasant, but we must say that they are pleasant, then an internal information conflict arises. That is, there is a sensation that is perceived on a non-verbal level as unpleasant, but on a verbal level it is corrected as pleasant or acceptable. This is how internal conflict is born, distrust of one’s own feelings, one’s own desires. And thus, having formed interneuronal connections in the process of education and training, we receive programs of unconscious response, which form the basis of our Self. They become determining our ways of responding, our sensations. This is the informational component of our Self. But since in the process of our upbringing and growth, connections between the trunk, midbrain and cortex are built in parallel, an energetic connection between the limbic system and other parts of the brain is also formed. As a result, we receive an information and energy complex called the Self. Where our sensations, thoughts, emotional and vegetative reactions are connected with each other. What is formed in early childhood is almost impossible to change in adulthood. And then you just need to accept yourself as you are.
