A very important part of the male personality is the “Protector”. This is an archetype, this is a function, this is the level of maturity of a man. In a healthy relationship, a woman feels protected next to a man. The family and the country feel protected. It is natural for a man that the Protector goes beyond the family and develops into independent activity. A man can realize himself in different ways in this case. For example, join the army or law enforcement. And it’s wonderful that there are such men. They really are real. But we live in such an interesting time when these men are charged with protecting themselves from a non-existent threat. For example, chasing people without a mask in shopping areas. Now I don't mean the guards in these halls. I'm talking about real combat law enforcement officers. I won’t explain why I found myself the other day in an empty grocery store without a mask. Maybe it was fate that brought me together with this wonderful man from law enforcement agencies who carried out a raid to identify violators of the mask regime. It was a young, fit and probably handsome man in uniform and wearing a mask. He spoke very culturedly. I can say that it was a pleasure to communicate with him. He politely explained to me that he was forced to draw up a report on the violator of the mask regime. First, just a warning. We went to the food table, and while he was drawing up a protocol, we managed to discuss many issues in connection with his raid. He has a plan, he definitely needs to draw up four protocols for the raid. Of course, his expectations did not coincide with reality, and instead of truly protecting order, he had to do this. He served under a contract, now he serves in the police because they pay more. He would leave, but he doesn’t know where or how to earn more. On his wrist I saw a tattoo “For the Airborne Forces!” When he wrote the protocol, his hands were shaking very much. It was very stressful for him. Personally, he evoked a lot of sympathy for me. So much that later, when I came home, I cried. I had no anger or irritation, I was just very sad about what was happening. But somewhere, someone at this time really needs real protection from criminals. And I understood this, and he understood this... And it was this understanding that caused that internal conflict, from which the hands of a young, skillful and strong law enforcement officer, a real Defender, were shaking so much.
