Good afternoon, Dear Friends! Today I am publishing for you the final article about how to get rid of the fear that prevents you from living. The first two parts are here: “About Fear. It fetters and interferes with life. It's time to get rid of him! , “How to get rid of fear” We started with the following question: Is what I’m afraid of happening to me right now? Why should I be afraid right now? Wouldn't it be better to do something more productive? How can I achieve what I want? Or in general, if everything is already clear, what can I do that is pleasant, other than being afraid? And then we move on to the following question, if the situation really requires our intervention: What can I do to prevent unwanted things from happening to me? That is, instead of being afraid, you can take control of the situation, take power over it into your own hands. And start doing something! And when we do something, as we remember from yesterday’s discussion, emotions disappear. Even though in this case they may not completely disappear, a significant reduction in fear can still be achieved. After all, we learn something, how best to cope, enlist the support of the right people, study the issue in more detail, and so on. In the meantime, we will receive positive reinforcement, there will definitely be no room for fears. And our confidence will grow. And the third question. Perhaps the most important: What is the general probability, where is the guarantee that what I am afraid of will actually happen to me? Why did I even get this? This question brings us back to reality (and the second one reinforces it), to the understanding that we cannot predict the future, that situations can develop in a variety of ways, not only the way we fear. Who, for example, did this or is doing that ( what we want to do, but are afraid) and nothing bad happens? Here! There are such people! Why should everything be bad for us? It is important here, perhaps, to receive support from knowledgeable, competent people, from close people (this again refers us to the second question. Everything is interconnected). If rational arguments and logical reflections still do not help cope with emotions, if affect turns out to be stronger than us , even despite the support of the environment, it is important to think about undergoing personal therapy and working with emotions, getting professional help from a psychologist.
