How to become more confident in yourself? This question worries many and the first thing that is important to do is to determine: What does it mean to be a confident person for you? We are all different, each of us is individual and has your personal ideas about what self-confidence is. Therefore, in order to become more confident, you need to understand what ideas you have. How does it feel to be confident for you? Where do you lack this confidence? How will it manifest itself? Self-confidence largely depends on how we treat ourselves, that is, our self-attitude also affects self-confidence. Think about how you treat yourself? Is your attitude towards yourself more positive, kindness, warmth, love, care, tenderness? Or do you more often treat yourself negatively and scold yourself, blame, criticize, condemn, are afraid to say something wrong or refuse, experience shame, guilt and dissatisfaction with yourself? It is important to understand what ideas you have about yourself and adjust your self-attitude - this will be a good basis for becoming more self-confident. It is more effective to do this in a psychologist’s office, since through building a therapeutic relationship and working with your beliefs, you gain new positive experience and can introduce new behavioral strategies into your life. But if For some reason, you haven’t yet turned to a psychologist, then right NOW you can do a lot YOURSELF in order to become more confident in yourself. Creating a trajectory for developing self-confidence will help you with this. I suggest you do the following exercise: To do this, take pen, notebook, do the exercise in writing and begin to implement step by step everything you write. Confidence development trajectory Answer the questions: 1. What does it mean to me to be confident?2. Where do I want to feel confident (in principle or in some areas)?3. If I feel confident in myself, how will my life change? Now make a point-by-point breakdown: 1. Point A (as I have now with self-confidence)2. Point B (what result do I want to have, what will be the result for me)3. What is stopping me from feeling confident now? (How I see and feel it)4. What do I need to do to change this? (How I feel) As soon as you start doing everything that you wrote, you will see changes in your life.
