You don’t like work, it’s annoying. It happens. You can’t wake up in the morning, your body actively resists the fact that it will now be dragged through traffic jams or on a crowded subway to a place where it’s boring and not interesting. And most likely it’s already Friday evening.. You open your mail, and from the sight of unread letters and tasks, instead of inspiration and a surge of strength, you feel heaviness and the desire to leave everything for later, so that it will somehow resolve itself. Having somehow suffered through a working day, in the evening, After squeezing the lemon used to unload the wagons, you trudge home. And you compensate for the boredom and tension accumulated during the day using all available traditional methods - eating, drinking, watching TV series, videos, etc. Anyone can cope as best they can, and as the inner Child, who demands something pleasant at least in the evening, will tell you. Just change your job and that’s all there is to talk about here - someone smart and proactive will say next to you. But it’s not always possible to just take it and change it right away. The reasons may be different:✓fear of not finding another job, “who needs me like that”,✓imposter syndrome, “I actually don’t know how to do anything, it’s just that I haven’t been exposed yet”,✓lack of understanding of what I even want to do, “ I’ll lose a lot of energy and time, but I’ll exchange the awl for soap,” and in general, there’s a crisis in the yard... But here, although it’s sickening, it’s familiar, and they give you salaries regularly. If there are no opportunities or internal resources to change jobs right now, you can turn it into a platform for an experiment. Observe yourself every day. What comes to me with the greatest difficulty and stress:⇘ working with documents (boring, distracted, making mistakes)⇘ communicating with colleagues (on what issues or in what situations is this especially evident) ⇘ communication with the manager (fear of doing something wrong, it’s difficult to defend your point of view with reason) ⇘ interaction with partners (I get annoyed with them for being stupid, I get irritated And what , on the contrary, I do it with pleasure. For example:⇗ when you need to explain or teach something to someone⇗ organize a corporate party⇗ edit the text, correct punctuation and structural errors⇗ etc. Monitor during the day which processes have energy , and in which there is a sharp decline, heaviness and apathy. Gradually, as this personal collection of observations is filled, your individual profile will become clearer. It will become clearer what kind of work, what type of activity will suit you best. At least at this stage of development. What are your characteristics, level of introversion / extroversion, are you a team player or a loner, what is easier - a sprint or a marathon, introducing something new or working properly according to familiar patterns, and so on. But there are areas that, regardless of your characteristics and preferences, will bring discomfort if they are not worked out. Without this, everything will be difficult and bad: ✹Fear of taking responsibility. Responsibility is a word that seems to have already stuck in everyone’s teeth and has an unpleasant connotation of duties and obligations. But it is the ability to understand and accept the consequences of our decisions and actions that reflects the level of our inner “adulthood”. Keeping promises, taking management and control into your own hands, realizing that much depends on myself, and not on a combination of circumstances or the bad mood of the manager - all this provides more opportunities for growth and satisfaction from work. ✹ Fear of admitting mistakes. Don’t hide or disguise, “maybe they won’t notice.” It will come up later, it will be even worse. In hot pursuit, it may still be possible to fix something. This is a particular component of the fear of responsibility. Such fear can arise when mistakes could only be a source of punishment or harsh criticism. No one consoled, helped to process them and make them their experience from which to learn. They didn't give a second chance. Making a mistake did not mean that you still lack some knowledge or skills, but that you are totally “guilty and bad.”✹ Fear of voicing that you don’t know or didn’t understand something. There is no person who knows everything and understands instantly, just
